ABLD Advocatuur B.V. in Amsterdam ('ABLD') processes personal data as controller as set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 ('GDPR').

Data we collect

Personal data that ABLD process are only used for the purposes described below and on the basis of the legal grounds listed below. Personal data provided to ABLD or obtained from (public) registers (such as the trade registry or the land registry) are not shared with third parties, unless this is necessary for the performance of our services or if we are legally obliged to provide such data.

Why we collect data

We process personal data to:

  • provide our services;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • engage in commercial activities, such as sending general documents such as newsletters and e-books, invitations to seminars, contacting people by telephone or otherwise;
  • handle job applications and internship request;
  • generate statistics related to the use of our website for analysis and improvement.

Legal grounds for processing

Processing personal data is based on the following legal grounds:

  • The client agreement and the applicable ABLD General Conditions;
  • Compliance with legal obligations;
  • Legitimate interests;

Retention

Personal data are not kept longer than is necessary to achieve the aforementioned objectives or to comply with legal obligations.

ABLD has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure personal data. Any questions may be directed to info@abld.eu.

Support

ABLD engages external suppliers to provide its services. We have entered into data processing agreements with such suppliers to ensure that personal data are protected and secured. These agreements meet the GDPR requirements.

Rights of data subjects

Under the GDPR a data subject is, inter alia, entitled to request inspection of personal data retained by ABLD, and to request changes or deletion, correction or supplementation. A request to exercise rights may be directed to info@abld.eu. Where possible, ABLD shall comply with such requests. Any complaints may be submitted to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Dutch Data Protection Authority).
