About pricing

ABLD agrees on a fee arrangement that meets clients' needs and interests. Fees, a 6.5% surcharge relating to general office costs and, if applicable, disbursements and VAT shall be specified on invoices. Invoices are normally sent monthly by e-mail. The standard payment term for invoices is fourteen days as from the invoice date.

Complaints, ABLD General Conditions and dispute settlement

The ABLD General Conditions shall apply to the services provided by ABLD. ABLD has a Complaints Procedure which is applicable. Dutch law shall apply and disputes shall be submitted for arbitration to the Geschillencommissie Advocatuur (Advocates Complaints Board) in The Hague, and if not, the competent judge in Amsterdam.

About our insurance

ABLD has a (professional) liability insurance policy issued by the Dutch branch of Zurich Insurance plc (Zurichtoren, Muzenstraat 31, 2511 VW The Hague, phone +31 (0)70 418 4184). Professional and general liability are covered up to a maximum of €2,500,000 per claim. Claims brought under or subject to the law of the United States of America and Canada are excluded from cover.
